Registration Process Month by Month

ACCESS INFORMATION
Current Students may access their schedule, grade report card, transcript, and their current and next semester schedule and academic transcript at myDC.
REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR CURRENT STUDENTS
JANUARY - FEBRUARY
Complete the FAFSA Renewal or complete FAFSA application by April 1 (DC's Title IV code 003041)
Reapply for any outside scholarships
Make monthly DC payment plan payments, if applicable
Receive HOPE and Lifetime Learning Tax Credit 1098-T form
MARCH - APRIL
Schedule classes for the next academic year
Complete room and meal plan contracts
Make monthly DC payment plan payments, if applicable
Schedule for summer courses, if applicable
Receive and pay for summer course tuition, if applicable
Verify room and meal plan accuracy
MAY - JUNE
Obtain spring grades online at myDC
Submit $150 deposit
Receive loan approval from guarantee agency (e.g. loan disclosure)
JULY - AUGUST
July 1 is the deadline to adjust a room and/or meal plan change
Submit financial aid verification documents, if applicable
Submit Stafford Loan Request Application(s)
Receive and submit signed fall bill with appropriate payment by August 1
Receive validation sticker; place on ID card
Receive DC payment plan coupons, if applicable
SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER
Make monthly DC payment plan payments, if applicable
Make any necessary adjustments to your spring schedule
Refund checks available by Friday of the second week of courses
Sign Perkins loan promissory note, if applicable
NOVEMBER - DECEMBER
Make monthly DC payment plan payments, if applicable
Receive and submit signed spring bill with appropriate payment
Receive validation sticker; place on ID card
Receive DC payment plan coupons, if applicable
Obtain fall grades online at myDC
Apply for graduation, if applicable
