Process for Students
Student Work Study Program
Students that have been awarded Federal Work Study
1. Verify Federal Work Study award on Award Letter.
2. Student must complete all necessary forms: State Tax Form, Federal Tax Form, I-9, and Student Employment Contract.
3. Attend job fair.
4. Student will browse jobs posted on the College Central Network.
5. Student will set up interview appointments with prospective employers.
6. If hired, student will complete and return Student Employment Contract to the Financial
Aid Office.
7. Student will pick up WAC Form in the Financial Aid Office, have employer complete
form, and return form to the Business Office or Financial Aid Office.
8. Student and employer will be officially notified via e-mail once the Financial
Aid Office has approved the student to work.
9. Student may now begin to work.
Students that have NOT been awarded Federal Work Study
1. Complete and return a Request for Regular Campus Employment form.
2. Once the student is awarded Regular Campus Employment the student will be notified
via campus e-mail.
3. Student must complete all necessary forms: State Tax Form, Federal Tax Form, I-9, and Student Employment Contract.
4. Student will browse jobs posted on the College Central Network.
5. Student will be able to set up interview appointments with prospective employers
two weeks after the start of the academic year.
6. If hired, the student will pick up a WAC Form in the Business Office or Financial
Aid Office, have employer complete form, and return form to the Business Office or
Financial Aid Office.
7. Student and employer will be officially notified via campus e-mail once the financial
aid office has approved the student to work.
8. Student may now begin to work.
